VOLUNTEER program

CLOTHING FAIR

When Kimberley Montini began teaching at Mark Twain Elementary, she noticed many students came to school wearing the same outfit all week. As winter temperatures dropped below freezing, the students arrived at school in the same tattered clothing, often wearing little more than a t-shirt.

To ensure children in Kansas City, KS have the clothing they need, clothing is collected and a Clothing Fair is organized where the students can come and shop for whatever clothing they need for the upcoming school year, including coats and winter wear.

With the help of generous cash and in-kind donations from individuals and elementary schools, as well as contributions of time and efforts by volunteers, we are able to provide the various items.

VOLUNTEER SIGN-UPS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE AS THE OPPORTUNITY APPROACHES.
